A series of works inspired by collecting, collaging and building. Textiles are designed in collaboration and sewn by artist Mia Flanagan with found fabrics and a deep appreciation for patchworking, fueled by homemade lunches and a new creative friendship.
The drawings are inspired by the textile process of cutting and assembling. Each motif was created digitally, collaged on paper, leaving blank areas to be drawn by traditional mixed media.
